1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using BidSignal (“the Service”), operated by BidSignal (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
BidSignal is a procurement intelligence platform that aggregates publicly available government tender data in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Service provides tender monitoring, AI-powered analysis, competitor tracking, and bid pricing guidance to help contractors make informed bidding decisions.
3. Accounts & Registration
You must create an account to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current information and promptly update it if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed monthly at the applicable rate for your chosen plan. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect current billing periods.
6. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of your initial purchase, email brad@bidsignal.ca to request a refund. You may cancel your subscription at any time to stop future charges.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the Service
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or its data
- Attempt to circumvent access controls or payment requirements
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
- Share account credentials with unauthorized third parties
8. Data Accuracy & Disclaimer
The Service aggregates data from publicly available government sources. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that tender data, award amounts, AI analyses, or bid pricing guidance are complete, accurate, or current. The Service is an informational tool only. All bidding decisions are solely your responsibility. We are not liable for decisions made based on data provided by the Service.
9. AI-Generated Content
Certain features use artificial intelligence to generate analyses, risk assessments, and bid price estimates. AI outputs are probabilistic and should not be treated as professional advice. Always verify AI-generated information independently before making business decisions.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service (excluding public government data) are owned by BidSignal and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BidSignal and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nova Scotia.
